AI Use Policy

Effective April 2026

10P1 Inc. is the steward of the 10+1™ Code and the 10+1™ Standard. The principles we author for others, we apply to ourselves. This policy describes how 10P1 uses artificial intelligence in its own operations, organized around the elements of the Code that govern that use.

We own AI’s outcomes

Every public-facing communication produced by 10P1 — including website content, marketing materials, client deliverables, and correspondence — is the result of human judgment, editing, and approval. AI is used as an instrument of human work, not a replacement for it. Where we use AI, we own the result.

This reflects Own AI’s Outcomes in the 10+1 Code. Responsibility for what we publish or deliver does not transfer to a model.

We respect AI’s limits

AI is used selectively to support content development, research, drafting, and operational tasks. We do not treat model outputs as authoritative. All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed by a human before they are delivered to a client or published externally. AI is not authorized to send communications, make decisions, execute transactions, or finalize deliverables on behalf of 10P1 without human oversight.

This reflects Respect AI’s Limits in the 10+1 Code. False certainty scales fast. Human review is not optional.

We are honest with AI

We do not feed AI systems distorted, deceptive, or manipulated inputs to produce a desired result. The integrity of what we put in is the integrity of what comes out. This applies to research, drafting, analysis, and any other AI-assisted work.

This reflects Be Honest With AI in the 10+1 Code. Trust depends on shared reality.

What we do not do

10P1 does not enter client data into consumer AI tools or any AI service that uses inputs to train models or makes data available outside a governed environment. When AI is used to analyze client information, 10P1 uses only enterprise-grade tools with contractual protections including no-training agreements, data processing agreements, and tenant isolation. Use of AI in any client engagement is disclosed to and authorized by the client.

We act as stewards, not masters

10P1 was founded on the conviction that those who deploy AI are accountable for what those systems do. That conviction is operational, not rhetorical. We treat our authority over AI tools as an obligation, not an entitlement. Where we use AI, we own the result. Where we limit its use, we do so deliberately. Where we are uncertain, we err on the side of restraint.

This reflects Be the Steward, Not the Master in the 10+1 Code. Stewardship is the posture that makes every other element durable.
